Volvo introduces the V90 Cross Country for the 2017 model year. Built on Volvo Cars’ Scalable Product Architecture and sharing architecture with the S90, the 5-passenger ruggedized wagon is to be the first of a range of V90 wagons brought to the U.S. by Volvo. Powered by a 2.0-liter turbo- and supercharged four-cylinder engine with 295 lb.-ft. of torque and 316 hp, providing a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. The engine mated to an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission and AWD system with Instant Traction™. Active Bending LED headlamps are standard, as are cross traffic alert, a blind spot information system, lane departure warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, Road Sign Information, City Safety Collision Avoidance Technology and Run-Off Road Mitigation. Inside, heated front seats, a flat-folding 40/20/40 rear seat, a power moonroof, leather seating surfaces and automatic climate control.
