New 2018 Volvo S90 Overview
The Volvo S90 returns for another model year with an unusual change: a lengthened wheelbase from 115.8 to 120.5 inches. This Chinese-built version will be the sole bodystyle available in the U.S., and the length change will benefit rear seat passengers, who gain 4.5 inches of rear legroom, as well as, rear seat massagers, deluxe center armrest and power side and rear sunshades. The interior also gets some restyling. Another notable item is a new T8 version with a Twin Engine Plug-In Electric Hybrid propulsion system offering 400 hp. It will be available in Inscription and Momentum trims. Additionally, all S90 versions include an updated Sensus Connect Touchscreen interface, as well as, Oncoming Lane Mitigation, BLIS with steering assist and updated City Safety. The T5 Inscription trim was dropped, leaving the T5 Momentum with its 250-hp turbo four. The T6 Momentum and Inscription return; powered by a 316-hp turbo- and supercharged four.
