New 2018 Lexus LC500 Overview

Lexus introduces the all-new flagship LC coupe for 2018. The LC 500 is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 providing 398 lb.-ft. of torque and 471 hp, complete with adjustable Active Exhaust, mated to a segment-first 10-speed automatic. The LC 500h introduces a brand new Multi Stage Hybrid System with 354 hp combined system output, integrating two electric motor/generators and a 3.5-liter V6, Lexus’ first compact and lightweight lithium-ion battery, and dual gearsets combining a CVT and 4-speed automatic. The LC chassis and body employ high-strength steel, aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic panels (CFRP). The LC roof is a large glass panel with CRFP option. The LC is equipped with Lexus Safety System+, including Pre-Collision System with All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, and Vehicle Sway Warning. The new Lexus multimedia package includes a 12-speaker Pioneer surround sound and the latest-generation Remote Touch Interface touchpad.
