New 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Overview
The GMC Sierra 1500 returns mostly unchanged for 2018. The regular cab version is available in base and SLE trims, in both RWD and 4WD, and in standard and long bed versions. The standard bed double cab is available in base, SLE and SLT both RWD and 4WD versions. The crew cab available in base, SLE, SLT and Denali versions in both RWD and 4WD and in short or regular bed versions. New 2017 features returning include available tri-mode power steps, active aero shutters, capless fuel fill and standard Teen Driver, designed to encourage safe driving habits by allowing parents to view the truck’s distance driven, maximum speed, and the number of times active safety features were engaged while driving. The Enhanced Driver Alert Package, available on the SLE and SLT, includes Safety Alert Driver Seat, Forward Collision Alert, IntelliBeam headlamps with automatic high-beam control, Front and Rear Park Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking.
