Yesterday we presented their tuning package for the SLS AMG, now it’s time to see what Wheelsandmore can do when it comes to the Mercedes SLR, both the standard version and the SLR 722 edition.
Apart from the engine upgrades, the rest of the enhancements offered by Wheelsandmore for both the Mercedes SLR and SLR 722 are the same. These include customs 20 inch lightweight alloys, an aluminium alloy full race coilover suspension with adjustable rebound and dampening rates, larger brakes and various carbon fiber components added at the interior.
In terms of performance upgrades, the Wheelsandmore Mercedes SLR comes with Stage I and II ECU upgrades that enable power boosts from 626 HP (460 kW) and 780 lb-ft of torque to 650 HP (478 kW) @ 6,500 rpm and 830 lb-fot of torque and 680 HP (500 kW) @ 6,500 rpm and 870 lb-ft or torque respectively.
On the Wheelsandmore Mercedes SLR 722 which comes as standard with 650 HP (478 kW) and 820 lb-ft of torque, both ECU upgrades are combined with a handmade stainless steel exhaust system that features manifolds, sport catalysts and sport mufflers and adds 40 extra horsepower.
