Volkswagen Polo GTI turned 25 years, and in order to celebrate this important age, the German car manufacturer has decided to come up with a special edition of the model.
It is called simply Polo GTI Edition and for the 25th anniversary, the subcompact hot hatch will get some special exterior details.
Customers can order the car with one of the following paints: Smoke Grey Metallic, Pure White, Ascot Grey, Reef Blue Metallic, Deep Black Pearl Effect, and Kings Red Metallic. There is also a subtle body graphic and the “One of 2500” logo on the sill panel trim.
Just like any other Polo GTI, the car will use the 2.0 liter TSI engine with 204 horsepower. Standard, the car will feature a seven speed automatic transmission and a sport suspension.
The production of this special edition will be limited to 2500 units.
