As you already know, Volvo has launched a pilot program in Australia with it’s newly S60 Polestar. According to a recent report, the Swedish car maker is considering additional Polestar models. The same rumors are saying that the upcoming models could be the V40 hatchback and the XC60 crossover.
If everything will be good, the Polestar will become what M Division is for BMW and AMG for Mercedes-Benz.
"At this moment it is a pilot program in Australia for Australia. But we only have to look at the other opportunities with the rest of our range to see there is potential [to expand]", said Matt Braid, Volvo Cars Australia chief.
He also want to see some new Polestar models but "it is too early to say anything. We will look at what more we can achieve after this pilot program."
