The guys from ABT Sportsline have prepared a special performance pack for the mighty Volkswagen Touareg V8 diesel. As you can remember, this is the same engine used by Volkswagen Group in the Audi SQ7 or Bentley Bentayga diesel.
In production form, the engine delivers 416 horsepowwer and 900 Nm peak of torque, but thanks to some improvements, the unit can now deliver 493 horsepower and 970 Nm peak of torque.
As a result, the Volkswagen Touareg V8 diesel can run from not to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
ABT also worked its magic on the smaller V6 motor by increasing its output from 282 HP and 600 Nm to 326 HP and 650 Nm.
According to ABT Sportsline, the starting price for the V8 diesel version is €89,825.
