The Volkswagen Polo Three-Door price for UK’s market has been announced today, with arrival for the first orders scheduled in January.
Costing 600 GBP less than the five-door model the Volkswagen Polo Three-Door price for UK starts at 9,435 GBP and this entry level version will extract power from a 1.2-litre 60 PS engine.
Besides the engine found in the standard S variant, there are three more engines available for the Volkswagen Polo Three-Door, a 1.4-litre 85 PS petrol and two diesels (1.6-litre packing 75 PS and 90 PS). All these engines will be available under the SE and Moda badges and moving up to the top of the line SEL version.
Volkswagen press release :
Shortly before the first new Polo models are delivered to customers, the three-door version has become available to order. This not only provides more choice but also increases the possibility of Polo ownership to a wider audience as the entry-level price is now reduced to £9,435 (OTR RRP). The same five-door Polo costs £10,035. If an order is placed now for a three-door Polo, it will be scheduled to arrive in January.
Engine and trim level availability is the same for three-door and five-door models. This means the starting point for the range is the 1.2-litre 60 PS engine in S trim. An S A/C model is offered as an option adding Climatic air conditioning. Moving up the range takes buyers to SE and Moda, and then to SEL with the highest level of specification. Three petrol engines (1.2-litre 60 and 70 PS and 1.4-litre 85 PS) and two diesels (1.6-litre 75 and 90 PS) are currently available.
