More rumors regarding possible future models, this time involving new versions based on the Volkswagen Polo, badged as the GT and GTD.
The German automaker could expand their Volkswagen Polo lineup for the European market with with two new variations (GT with 150 HP / GTD with 130 HP) by following the same recipe as the one used on the Golf range.
The Volkswagen Polo GT would extract power from a 1.4-litre TSI mated with an automatic DSG transmission, while the Polo GTD is most probably going to use a 1.6-litre TDI.
If these rumors will be confirmed, then we will most likely see the Volkswagen Polo GT and GTD available in Europe towards the end of 2011.
