The German automaker is introducing the R-Line versions Volkswagen Passat based on the European spec sedan and estate models.
This new R-Line trim is about making the latest generation Passat more appealing in terms of appearance, as there are no mechanical differences between it and the standard version, so here are some of the changes that have been performed.
First of all we are talking about a new pair of bumpers, with larger air intakes and integrated fog lights at the front, new side skirts, a glossy black rear diffuser, a small body coloured spoiler positioned on the boot on the sedan and on the roof on the estate, plus a set of 17 inch Mallory alloys which are wrapped in run-flat tires.
The Volkswagen Passat R-Line is also differentiated from the regular model by the chromed tailpipe tips and the sports tuned suspension which lowers the car’s center of gravity by 15 mm, while at the interior the list of enhancements include two-tone sports seats with fabric upholstery, a sports steering wheel with aluminium accents, stainless steel pedals and R-line badged entry sill plates.
The new Passat R-Line starts at 30,225 Euros in Germany. The company is also offering the R-Line as a 990 Euro package for the Comfortline and Highline variants.
