UK pricing for the rugged Volkswagen Passat Alltrack has been announced.
This model will arrive in showrooms on May 28, and unlike the regular Passat, this version comes with a raised suspension, 4MOTION four-wheel drive and various body enhancements that offer protection when covering rough terrain.
In the UK the new Passat Alltrack will be available in just one trim level and with two drivetrain options: a 140PS 2.0-litre TDI linked to a 6-speed manual transmission whic will return 49.6 mpg (combined, UK rating), and emit 150 grams of CO2 per Km, plus a 170 PS 2.0-litre TDI in connection with a 6-speed DSG gearbox that will enable 47.9 mpg (combined, UK rating), with CO2 levels of 155 grams oer Km.
Pricing for the 140 PS model starts at 28,475 GBP while the 170 PS variant costs from 31,025 GBP.
Standard equipment on the Passat Alltrack includes Alcantara upholstery, dual-zone climate control, touch screen satellite navigation, DAB radio, MDI iPod connectivity, Bluetooth phone preparation, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring and 18 inch wheels.
The automaker’s Driver Alert System which monitors the driver’s fatigue level is also going to be standard, along with ESP (Electronic
Stabilisation Programme).
On the optional equipment list customers will find features such as the High Beam
Assist, Side Scan Lane Change Assist, Lane Assist, ACC Adaptive Chassis Control, Automatic Distance Control, an interior ambient lighting pack, a rear view camera and an electrically deployed towbar.
