Volkswagen is working on CC Shooting Brake

The German car maker Volkswagen is working on a Shooting Brake version of the CC. If the model receives green light it should be out on sale in early 2015.

The upcoming CC Shooting Brake will be based on the second generation model and will ride on the MQB platform. The new version will be designed to fill the gap between the Passat and the Phaeton. 

Thanks to its length, the CC Shooting Brake will provide more room for the passengers. Even though we don’t know all the details, the new Volkswagen model will feature the same engines with 4 cylinder gasoline and diesel. There are a few rumors that are indicating a plug-in gasoline electric-hybrid.
