Electric cars are getting bigger and better. And this is why, in Europe, there are lots of orders. According to a recent report published by Jato Dynamics, in October, in Europe were sold 119,600 electric cars, 15% up compared to the same period of 2021.

The best seller was Volkswagen ID.4 with 6.069 units (+25% compared to October 2021). On the second place of this list was another Volkswagen model. The ID.3. The compact electric hatchback was sold in 5.409 units (down 3% compared to the same period of last year).

On the last podium spot was Fiat 500e. The little city car made by the Italians looks good in Europe sales, and in October was sold in 5.168 units. To have an idea about the 500e, you have to know that the Italian model is the best selling European electric model in the Old Continent. Tesla is on the top spot on the overall classification.

Another important fact is that in October, Renault Megane E-Tech Electric managed to get a top 10 ranking (no. 5, with 4.551 units sold across Europe). The best selling premium electric car in Europe in October was Polestar 2 with 3.760 units.
