The 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI is now available to order and the starting price is 25.895 pounds. For the first time in history, the new Golf GTI is offered with two power outputs. 

The first version has a 2.0 liter turbocharged direct-injection petrol unit that outputs 220 hp. It can be offered with a six speed manual or six speed DSG gearbox. The second version, is called GTI Performance and comes with the same petrol unit which can develop 230 HP. 

The standard version can sprint from stand still to 62 mph in 6.5 second and the top speed is clocked at 152 mph. The GTI Performance is a tenth faster and has a top speed of 155 mph.

For 980 extra pounds you can choose the GTI Performance. The German car maker sais that the second version of the Golf GTI comes with a propre mechanical limited slip front diff, called VAQ. There are also upgraded breaks while the only visual difference is GTI lettering on the red brake calipers of the latter car.
