In the latest episode from Fifth Gear, Tiff Needell turns two sporty coupes against eachother, and these are the VW Scirocco and the Peugeot RCZ.
Even though the VW Scirocco features a 1.4-petrol engine whereas the Peugeot RCZ has a 1.6-litre turbo engine, both cars have the same performance figures, as they both need 8 seconds to reach 62 mph from a stand still and have a top speed of 135 mph.
When it comes to pricing however the VW Scirocco costs around 1,000 GBP less than the Peugeot RCZ which could well be worth it considering the French coupe’s appealing looks.
