The guys from Motor Trend have put face to face a SRT Viper and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series.

The US model comes with an 8.4 liter V10 unit that can develop 640 horsepower and 814 Nm peek of torque. The resources are put to the ground via a six speed manual transmission which allows the car to sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. The quarter mile is done in 11 seconds while the top speed was clocked at 331 km/h. 

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series comes with a 6.2 liter V8 unit that delivers 622 horsepower and 634 Nm peek of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is made in 3.5 seconds and the top speed stops at 315 km/h.
