FifthGear has recently reviewed the 3 Wheeler, a car which represents a brand new version of Morgan’s first ever car from 1910.
Due
to its configuration which features a two seat open cabin and a V-Twin
bike engine position in-front of two wheels which sends power to the rear
wheel, the Morgan 3 Wheeler is different from any other car on sale
today.
Apart from the transmission which has been borrowed from a
Mazda MX5, mostly everything about the Morgan 3 Wheeler is old school,
which is why the car generates such a unique experience and convinced hundreds of customers that the 30,000 GBP price tag is worth paying.
And
that is despite the fact that the Morgan 3 Wheeler does not come with
power steering, servo assisted brakes or traction control, plus its
steering is quite numb and its ride is ‘bloody hard’.
For the
same amount of money you could buy a Lotus Elise or a Caterham, but
according to FifthGear, none of those will be as fun to drive as the 3
Wheeler.
