A few weeks ago we saw a video in which the BMW M135i was compared with the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. Today, the British journalist Chris Harris has uploaded a video in which we can see the same cars competing on road and on track. 

As a reminder, the BMW M135i is available both in rear and all wheel drive form and it comes with a 3.0 liter turbocharged inline-six cylinder unit that can output 315 horsepower. With the six speed manual transmission, the car can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, while with the 8 speed automatic gear box, this milestone is achieved in 4.9 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG comes with the most powerful 2.0 liter turbocharged unit in the world. It can deliver 355 horsepower and 450 Nm peek of torque. In can only be ordered with a dual clutch seven speed transmission and all wheel drive system and the sprint from 0 – 100 km/h can be done in 4.6 seconds.
