A new episode from FifthGear, a new head to head comparison test – this time involving two American muscle cars (Chevrolet Camaro SS and Dodge Challenger SRT 8), which get driven around the track by Tiff Needeel for a race against the clock.
The Chevrolet Camaro SS UK spec costs 30,000 GBP and features a 6.2-litre V8 which packs 395 bhp while the Dodge Challenger SRT 8 which uses a 420 bhp 6.0-litre V8 is only available in the UK if shipped from the US at a price tag of 40,00 GBP.
Even though the Chevrolet Camaro SS has a little less power, it also weights with around 100 Kg less than the Dodge Challenger SRT 8, which meant being with almost 1.0 seconds faster around the track than its rival.
