The latest episode from Fifth Gear presents a battle between two of Germany’s best sports saloons, the Audi RS6 vs the Mercedes E63 AMG.
The Audi RS6 has a 5.0-litre V10 engine producing 580 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque under its bonnet, which means it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 174 mph. The Audi RS6 features the Quatrro AWD system which is put into motion by the Paddle-Shifted 6 Speed Tiptronic transmission.
As for the Mercedes E63 AMG there are 518 HP and 465 lb-ft of torque generated by its 6.3-litre V8 and when sprinting from 0 to 62 mph there are only 4.4 seconds needed. Top speed is limited to 250 mph and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission sends power to the rear wheels.
