The Ariel Atom V8 review video has hit the web, courtesy of the Brits at Autocar. By looking at the Ariel Atom V8 performance figures it is pretty easily to understand that this limited edition racer was going to be impressive.
But rather than imagining things, this review video is here to show us just what the Ariel Atom V8 can do around a race track.
And as a reminder here are the Ariel Atom V8 specs again : power is being delivered by a 3.0-litre V8 that unleashes 475 horses, which spins the wheels via a six-speed paddle-shift transmission. The power-to-weight-ratio in the Ariel Atom V8 is 900 bhp per ton, which is pretty much what the guys in Formula 1 have, and when accelerating from 0 to 100 Km/h the car needs just 2.5 seconds.
Production was limited to 25 units and the Ariel Atom V8 price is close to 150,000 GBP.
