BMW is preparing to launch the upcoming generation of the M3/M4 Coupe. Today, the German car manufacturer has publsihed a short video with the sound of the six-xylinder 3.0 liter twin-turbo engine.

According to some rumors, the S55 engine generation will offer 450 horsepower and 550 Nm peek of torque. In these conditions, the upcoming M3/M4 Coupe will sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, while the top speed will probably be electronically limited to 250 km/h. 

According to Friedrich Nitschke, managing director of BMW M Performance Automobiles, the M3 and M4 Coupe could be launched next year at the North American International Auto Show.

More than that, there are some rumors that say the BMW will show at this year Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance a concept version of the performance sedan and coupe.
