Mercedes unveiled today a new commercial for its brand new 2013 E63 AMG Saloon and Estate variants. The two cars are first pictured on a nice mountain road and then on track, revving their V8 engines.

The new E 63 AMG presents a more powerful character and a more dynamic appearance than all its predecessors. As we already know the top AMG model is available as a Saloon and Estate. Both models are powered by a two different version of the current V8 engine. One is developed for the standard E63 AMG and one for the S-Model variant.

On the new S-Model the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine generates a maximum output of 430 kW (585 hp) and maximum torque of 800 Newton metres – representing an increase of 20 kW (28 hp) over the AMG Performance package which was previously available as an option. At 410 kW (557 hp) and 720 Newton metres, the basic model also boasts an increase of 24 kW (32 hp) and 20 Newton metres over its predecessor.
