Tesla Motor has started road testing their EV sedan, the Tesla Model S which will also have to go through computer simulations before entering production.
The North American company has divided its vehicle testing stage into two phases, Alpha and Beta, and this next video shows the Tesla Model S, which as you can notice, features a slightly modified front fascia, during the Alpha phase which began in 2010.
Being an EV, the Tesla Model S is almost completely quiet, while in terms of driving dynamics, the company’s Vehicle Dynamicist Graham Sutherland said: "The first Alpha
is amazingly agile for a car of its size. It has great handling balance
and poised ride with communicative steering. Just goes to show what
combining a low center of gravity with a very stiff body structure can
achieve."
