Perhaps Top Gear’s co-host, James May, also known as Captain Slow is trying to get rid of his nickname, as he was recently caught on tape testing the 2012 Nissan GTR’s Launch Control system.
Based on what he says in the video, he actually wants to see if the GTR’s Launch control is as ‘dramatic and remarcable’ as Jeremy Clarkson thinks it is.

In fact the GTR’s Launch Control is truly remarkable considering it has to cope with the car’s four wheel drive system and the engine’s turbochargers, and at the end of the test May thinks he should buy a 2012 GTR.
