The latest short review video courtesy of Autocar puts the spotlight on the 2011 BMW X3, which gets driven on UK’s public roads, as the Brits wanted to see if this new model has rectified the previous generation’s failings.
This particular model featured in this review video is the 2012 BMW X3 xDrive 20d SE which in UK is priced at 30,490 GBP and which uses a 4-cylinder 1995cc turbo diesel to generate 182 bhp @ 4,000 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque @ 2,750 rpm.
Also as tested, the 2011 BMW X3 used a six-speed automatic, which meant accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) took 8.5 seconds, while its maximum top speed is 130 mph.
The 2011 BMW X3 has a kerb weight of 1,790 Kg, and in terms of consumption and emissions, the small Bavarian SUV returns 50.4 mpg combined, and emits 149 grams of CO2 per Km.
