This next video presents the latest car to arrive in Jay Leno’s garage for a test drive, so this time he takes the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport 2.5 for a spin.
As you might know the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport 2.5 uses an electric motor which delivers around 295 lb-ft of torque to the wheels via a single-speed transmission and on a single charge it can return up to 245 miles (EPA rating)
The 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport 2.5 also features a fluid cooled battery pack on which temperature is adjusted according to the car’s drive mode settings, and when put into performance mode there are only 3.7 seconds needed to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph.
