In their latest short review sessions the crew from Autocar test drives the Vauxhall Meriva 1.4T. Apart from its Flex doors and the fact that the new generation is larger than its predecessor, the Vauxhall Meriva 1.4T comes with a turbocharged petrol engine 1364 cc in capacity that produces 138 bhp and 148 lb-ft of torque which spins the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
A top speed of 122 mph can be reached and when accelerating from 0 to 60 mph the Vauxhall Meriva takes 10.3 seconds. As far as consumption and emissions the Meriva returns 42.2 mpg combined and emits 156 grams of CO2 per Km.
