Vauxhall is ready to offer UK buyers a new experience in the midsize performance segment with its new Insignia VXR SuperSport.
The high-performance replacement for the 325hp Insignia VXR is ready to offer same performance without the speed-limiter. The SuperSport can hit 170 mph (273 km/h), representing a 15 mph (24 km/h) increase.
At the heart of the VXR SuperSport is Vauxhall’s 2.8-litre V6 Turbo ECOTEC engine, with a micro-alloy forged steel crank, classic 60-degree cylinder angle and die-cast alloy sump. A now classic recipe that develops 325 hp and enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds.
The new Insignia VXR SuperSport comes with Lifetime Warranty and is available to order now through Vauxhall’s approved VXR dealers.
The price is even smaller than the one of the old Insignia VXR, meaning is £3.760 less. The new price is £29.995. According to Vauxhall, the price is even smaller than those of market newcomers like the BMW 135i M Sport.
