A new day, a new performance kit for the Mercedes SLS AMG, this time from the aftermarket specialist at VATH who call their tuning program the V63S.
The kit consists of a remapped ECU with custom ignition and injection characteristics and a high-performance exhaust system with manually controlled extra pneumatic valves. Thanks to these upgrades the VATH V63S Mercedes SLS has a peak performance of 615 HP and 680 Nm of torque @ 5,800 rpm, figures which enable the car to complete the 0 to 100 Km/h sprint in 3.6 seconds. Top speed has also increased to 330 Km/h.
An increased output demanded a series of other upgrades as well, like a new set of brakes with slotted rotors and high-performance brake pads, 20 inch three-part forged rims wrapped in tires size 265/30ZR20 at the front and 315/25ZR20 at the rear and a revised suspension which allows the car’s center of gravity to be lowered by 25 mm.
At the exterior, the carbon fiber aerodynamic package fitted on the VATH V63S Mercedes SLS includes a new front lip spoiler, new side skirts and a boot lid lip while at the interior the car has gained a sport steering wheel wrapped in leather, various carbon or wood applications, a new speedometer extended to 400 Km/h, black floor mats and lather door trimming.
The VATH V63S Mercedes SLS conversion costs 32,670 Euro.
