We put the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on hold for a second because we need to tell you about Vath’s tuning program for the 2012 Mercedes SLK 350.
The program is dubbed the R172 and it enhances Mercedes’s new small roadster via ‘delicate adjustment’ of the V35 engine electronics and increase of the Vmax. These methods enable the 3.5-litre engine fitted on the SLK 350 to produce 330 HP (230 kW) and 390 Nm of torque, while the car’s new top speed is 269 Km/h.
The Vatch 2012 Mercedes SLK 350 also comes with a stainless steel exhaust system featuring a double flow muffler with two oval tips left and right, three-spoke 20 inch forged rims with 235/30ZR20 tires on the front axle and 265/25ZR20 tires on the rear axle, plus suspension lowering module which allows the car to sit closer to the asphalt by between 20 and 65 mm.
Exterior enhancements performed by Vath on the 2012 Mercedes SLK 350 include a carbon fiber made front spoiler and spoiler lip plus a carbon boot lid lip, and if you like what you see, then you should know that the German tuner will charge you 25,192 Euros for this program.
