Trident, a British sport car manufacturer, has announced that the Iceni is now available for order at a starting price of 96,000 GBP.
Under the hood of the Trident Iceni is a 6.6 liter V8 turbodiesel engine which allow the British model to be the world’s fastest diesel sports car. The engine can deliver 395 horsepower and 948 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the car can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 306 km/h.
For those who want more, Trident has a performance package which raises the output of the engine to 430 HP and 1.286 Nm of torque. In addition, the British manufacturer offers a track performance pack. Thanks to this one, the engine develops 660 horsepower and 1.422 Nm peak of torque.
Inside the cabin we see two-tone Alcantara and leather upholstery, heated mirrors, a Clarion multimedia system with a seven inch display. The premium package adds carbon fiber accessories.
According to Trident, the car has a maximum range of 3.218 kilometers on a single tank of mineral diesel or bio-diesel (cooking oil, virgin rapeseed, linseed, palm, soya bean oil, kerosene and paraffin).
The all-new Trident Iceni has a starting price of 96,000 GBP and there is already a pre-launch waiting list. A fully-loaded Trident Iceni will set you back approximately 126,000 GBP.
