The all-new Toyota Tacoma has been named the 2023 SEMA Best Midsize Truck of the Year by SEMA member companies. This prestigious award is Toyota’s second in three years in the Best Midsize Truck category, and Toyota products have been recognized three years in a row, including 2021 Sport Compact of the Year for the GR Supra, 2022 Sport Compact of the Year for the GR86, and 2021 Midsize Truck of the Year for the Tacoma. Toyota has also been designated a finalist in four car categories for 2023.

The new 2024 Tacoma is offered with the i-Force Max hybrid engine. The i-Force Max hybrid engine is standard in Trailhunter and TRD Pro models. It is available as an option on TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, and Limited versions. The powertrain combines a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with a 48-horsepower electric motor and an eight-speed gearbox.
