After we saw a concept called RND, Toyota finally sheds some light. It is not a new concept for the Geneva Motor Show, as some expected. It is an Auris with a red nose, and this is where the name RND comes from. Toyota is an official partner of the Red Nose Day (RND) campaign in the UK.
Supporting the ‘Make Your Face Funny For Money‘ theme, Toyota is making red noses available for the front of your car. Red noses for vehicles will be available exclusively from their 182 UK Toyota Centres and Toyota’s official eBay store. The money raised from Red Nose Day activities will go to Comic Relief’s grants programme. This way they will be helping transform the lives of people in the UK and Africa. The price is just £5 per nose.
“We have set ourselves a target of £1 million that we are confident we can achieve with the enthusiasm, generosity and good humour of the thousands of people who work in our offices, factories, warehouses, workshops and showrooms, together with their families, friends and business colleagues”, said Matt Harrison, President and Managing Director Toyota GB.
