Chris Harris, ex reviewer at EVO, currently part of the team behind YouTube’s DRIVE channel, has traveled to Spain in order to spend some time with the new Toyota GT-86.
He flew from UK to Madrid in order to spend just 20 minutes with the new Japanese model, but his time was well worth it, and you’ll understand exactly what we mean by watching the footage.
The whole video is more than 10 minutes long, and apart from the section where you see Harris tossing the GT-86 around the track (the Jarama Circuit), you’ll also see him talk to Tetsuya Tada, GT-86 Chief Engineer, who actually confirms that an optional mechanical differential will also be available for this model in the future in order to better suit the needs of drifters and racers.
Overall Harris is very pleased with the new Toyota GT-86, so pleased in fact that he plans on buying one for himself. He suggests you should do the same.
