Even though Rush didn’t managed to finish on the podium box office, the guys from 20th Century Fox decided to develop another automotive-based movie. Dubbed, Go Like Hell it is based on A.J. Baime book called o Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans.
The upcoming Go Like Hell movie will tell us the story of Ford’s attempt to buy Ferrari and the astonishing battle to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960s. According to rumors, the movie is still under development, but Tom Cruise has been cast to play Carroll Shelby.
Go Like Hell will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, the same person, which recently worked with Tom Cruise on Oblivion movie.
There’s no word on who would play Ford or Lee Iaccoca or Enzo Ferrari. And it’s still a long way off before the production starts acquiring Ford GT40s and Ferrari 330 P3s. If everything aligns, Go Like Hell would likely go before cameras during 2014 for a release sometime in 2015.
