Nissan has officially unveiled the world’s first seven-seat bobsled in Innsbruck, Austria. The special product was developed with the assistance of bobsled manufacturer Diego Menardi.

Named Nissan X-Trail Bobsleigh the product draws inspiration from the company’s seven-seat crossover. It has a unique front part with boomerang-shaped LED headlights and a simulated V-motion grille.

The model is based on a regular four-person bobsled but it has been extended in order to accommodate up to seven people. As a result, the new Nissan X-Trail Bobsleigh is 3.8 feet long which is just 1.4 feet shorter than the X-Trail SUV.

According to Nissan, the bobsled can run from not to 62 mph in 30 seconds and the top speed is clocked at 65 mph. More than that, the product can deliver up to 4.5 G’s.
