In 2017, Rolls-Royce unveiled the Sweptail, a custom coachbuilt model, and the Brits are back with another one-of-a-kind car. Its name is Boat Tail and it represents the reactivation of the Rolls-Royce Coachbuilding department.

This is their first project and it started four years ago.

The new Boat Tail is a proper coachbuilt model as all the exterior and interior were handbuilt on request.

As the name suggests, the car’s exterior and interior are linked with the world of racing yachts.

It has a two-tone blue exterior with a wood veneer on the “aft deck,” and a unique windscreen. The roof is fully removable and it is connected to the wooden rear deck. There is a permanent tonneau cover in the trunk that can be used in case of inclement weather while on the road.

Inside the cabin there is the same two-tone blue leather, while the dashboard wears a unique texture known as Guilloche.

In the trunk there is also a double champagne fridge, sliver cutlery, porcelain plates, a parsol and and two cloth stools.
