Back in December 2019, Audi registered the Green Hell name. We didn’t know what to expect at that time, but today we have an answer.

It is a new R8 special edition. The new model is named R8 Green Hell and the model pays tribute to Nurburgring racing wins.

The Audi R8 green hell edition is serially numbered and limited to 50 units worldwide, costing EUR 233,949.59 in Germany. The new R8 Green Hell is finished in a dark Tioman green.

If you don’t want to be on the spot lights, you can also choose three other exterior colors: ibis white, Daytona gray or Mythos black. The front hood, the A-pillars, the roof and the rear end are covered partially in matt black foil with a racing look. The doors of the customer cars feature the edition number in large transparent matt figures reminiscent of starting numbers.

The Green Hell R8 logo is also placed on the sideblade and on the windshield in gloss black. In the interior, the driver sits on lightweight bucket seats with center panels upholstered in Alcantara. The same material is also used on the steering wheel rim with its red 12 o’clock marker, on the hood over the digital instrument display, on the door armrests, knee pads and on the center armrest.

Under the hood will be the same V10 naturally aspirated engine which can deliver 620 horsepower via a seven speed transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
