Ford unveiled a new generation F-150. The best selling car in the US in the last 38 years is now back with some modern tweaks and special improvements.

On the outside, the pickup truck doesn’t come with major modifications, as the new generation can be considered an evolution in terms of design compared to the old car.

The full-LED lights and now featuring a new signature, while the front grille is available in multiple versions depending on your powertrain and trim level. 11 versions of the grille can be ordered. The wheels are available in sizes from 17 to 22 inches while the car has three sized: Regular, Extended and SuperCrew.

Inside the cabin are lots of modifications. You can see a digital instrument panel and a central display that can be ordered in sizes up to 12 inches. It has the SYNC4 system and it is compatible with Andorid Auto, Apple CarPlay and SYNC AppLink. All these systems are available wireless.

The sound system is powered by Bang&Olufsen and has 12 speakers. On the safety side, the 2021 Ford F-150 comes with an automatic emergency braking system which can detect pedestrians.

There is also the Active Drive Assist which is an adaptive cruise control that can also steer the car. It will transform the 2021 F-150 into a semiautonomous vehicle in some certain situations.

The infotainment system also comes with over-the-air updates, just like the new Mustang Mach-E.

The new 2021 Ford F-150 is available with lots of powertrains, but the most interesting one is the plug-in hybrid. It is equipped with a V6 3.5 liter engine and an electric motor with 47 horsepower. The PHEV version is equipped with a 10 speed automatic transmission. Other five units are available to order: naturally aspirated V6 3.3 liter, V6 2.7 liter EcoBoost twin-turbo, V6 3.5 liter EcoBoost with twin-turbo, 3.0 liter V6 turbo and naturally aspirated V8 5.0 liter. For now, Ford did not disclose any details regarding the power of the engine line-up.
