Volkswagen has officially unveiled the new 2016 Volkswagen Amarok facelift. The model will be offered with a new V6 3.0 liter turbodiesel engine rated at 163 horsepower, 204 horsepower and 224 horsepower. In its strongest version, the engine can deliver 550 Nm peak of torque from 1,500 rpm. 

As you can see this version is more powerful than the previous range-topping unit (2.0 biturbo – 180 HP and 420 NM). 

According to Volkswagen, the new 2016 Amarok facelift will come in a traditional rear-wheel drive version but if you pay more you will get the 4Motion all-wheel-drive technology. If you order the 4Motion and the automatic transmission you will also get a Torsen differential. 

As a result, the new 2016 Volkswagen Amarok facelift will return 7,6 liters of diesel for 100 kilometers and 199 grams of CO2 per kilometer. 

In standard, the new Amarok will get the Servotronic steering system.

On the design side you can see new body-colored sports bar for the Aventura model, new 20 inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights and LED DRLs. The load platform of the four-door Amarok is capable of carrying a Euro-pallet loaded sideways and features a maximum payload of more than 1 ton. 

Inside the cabin of the new 2016 Volkswagen Amarok facelift you will find new ergonomic seats, a redesigned dashboard and new safety systems (Park Distance Control, Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, etc).
