The Peugeot 205 GTI is a simple and nimble hot hatch that doesn’t have electronics to keep you safe. But no one thought this car can grab an impressive sum at an auction. This classic Peugeot 205 GTI managed to take £30,938 (about $40,430 / €36,471).
It went under the hammer at the Classic Sale 2016 organized by Silverstone Auctions. It had only 7,986 miles (12,852 km) on the odometer and had the original Silver Metallic paint.
Throughout its 27-year life it had only one owner and it was stored between June 2004 and February 2012. The car doesn’t have and body damages, scratches, or scuffs. The new owner now has the full documentation, including all of the handbooks, service records, instruction booklets, original brochures, and invoices.
