It is not a secret that Mercedes-Benz is into fashion. The German car manufacturer has created a series of collections over the years with different premium accessories and clothes.
This time, the Germans have teamed up with Elijah Rutland, an artist to create a special pair of Air Jordan sneakers.
The one-of-a-kind sneakers come with the white Mercedes-Benz star logo stamped on the toebox, with airbrushed silver and black accents to match the company’s colors.
“I got a call a couple of weeks ago from Mercedes-Benz, and they told me they had a custom shoe project and they told me they want a be a part of it. I always think of Mercedes-Benz as like the classic luxury car, so I really wanted to capture the essence and the aesthetic of specific cars like the C-Class and A-Class…”, said Rutland.
The sneakers that were transformed into art are the Nike Jordan Air 1s.
