RM Sotheby’s auction house has announced that the one-off 2006 Lamborghini Concept S is going up for sale at the Art Automobiles auction in New York City on November 18th.
“Returning to the global stage of New York City is particularly special this year as we’ve entered into partnership with Sotheby’s. We are looking forward to once again hosting a world-class exhibition and auction with our new colleagues,” says Rob Myers, Chairman and Founder, RM Sotheby’s.
As you may have read, the 2006 Lamborghini Concept S was revealed as a non-running concept at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show but it received a fully-operated version. The car has been driven only 180 kilometers (111 miles), many of those accumulated during the initial testing.
According to Rob Myers, the 2006 Lamborghini Concept S is able to fetch between $2.4 and $3.0 million.
