The Korean car maker Kia has unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show the 2014 Cadenza. The new Asian model is designed to battle with the Buick LaCrosse and Toyota Avalon.
The premium model comes with a tiger nose front fascia, plenty of chrome accessories, LED taillights and dual exhaust system. On the cabin there are leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and 12 speaker Infinity audio system. The GPS navigation and UVO eServices are available throw an 8-inch touchscreen display.
The customers who chose the Premium package will have Nappa leather seats, panoramic roof and digital instrument cluster.
The Technology package comes with Blind Spot Detection system, Advanced Smart Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning System. Under the hood there is a 3.3 liter GDI V6 engine that offers 293 bhp (218 kW) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque. The power is sent to the front wheel thanks to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2014 Kia Cadenza will go on sale in the US on the second quarter of the 2013 but the price remains unknown.
