Tesla Motors has revealed the new Tesla 8.0 software. Now, the software is widely available to drivers via the over-the-air update and represents the biggest UI revamp since the launch of Model S.

Thanks to the new update, the front-mounted radar sensors are acting like somewhat like cameras and scan the road ahead and creates a 3D image. As a result, the car will be able to handle highway interchanges and to adapt better to curves. On the safety front, Autosteer shuts off if the driver ignores in-vehicle warnings.

"Software update 8.0 kicks off a significant over-the-air overhaul of the Tesla touchscreen and introduces the biggest UI revamp since the launch of Model S", is said in the official statement.

More than that, the new Tesla 8.0 software update comes with important improvement to the infotainment system. The system’s voice recognition is even better.

The Cabin Overheat Protection keeps kids and pets from overheating inside the vehicle. Whenever the interior reaches 105 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius), the air conditioning automatically turns on to cool things down. How cool is that?
