Subru has attached a price tag to their all new XV as the all-wheel-drive crossover is already available for purchase in Great Britain.
The XV is basically a crossover version of the Impreza hatch, and it comes available with three engine choices and three levels of equipment under the S, SE and SE Lux Premium badges.
The engines are a 1.6-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre petrol developing 114 PS and 150 PS respectively, plus a 2.0-litre diesel rated at 147 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices include 5-speed and 6-speed manuals along with a 6-speed CVT automatic that can only be mated with the patrol units.
Subaru claims that the diesel version XV will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 9.3 seconds, returns 50.4 mpg in a combined cycle (UK rating) and emits just 146 grams pf CO2 per Km.
The Subaru XV price for UK starts at 21,295 GBP for the range opening 1.6i S model and reaches 29,995 GBP for the 2.0D SE Lux Premium variant.
Standard equipment on the entry level S models includes ABS, traction control, Subaru Vehicle Dynamics Control (SVDC) front, side, curtain and knee airbags, 17-inch alloys, daytime LEDs
and automatic air conditioning.
The SE models add cruise control, rear-view camera, Bluetooth functionality and USB/iPod connectivity while the SE Lux Premium also includes a sunroof, Keyless Smart Entry, push-button start, leather seats and satellite navigation.
