The world premiere of the Subaru XV Concept will take place at the 14th edition Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2011) next Tuesday, but until then the Japanese automaker is keeping us ‘busy’ with a teaser image that shows their latest creation sitting in the dark.
Through the Subaru XV Concept the Japanese company is offering a preview of their next generation crossover which according to them will combine SUV practicality with a fashionable form. The theme of this car is "Enjoyment and Peace of mind" and the main target are customers who are interested in a package that "stretches beyond those from the populated crowd of existing crossover models".
We are also being told that the XV Concept will combine crossover-like driving excitement with Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD system, while power will most likely get extracted from the latest generation Boxer engines.
We’ll be back with the official set of photos and details once the XV Concept will be unveiled in Shanghai on April 19.
