Subaru has announced the name of the new concept which will be on display at their stand in Frankfurt starting from September 13.
Badged as the Subaru BRZ the car will be a rear-wheel-drive model developed together with Toyota Motor Corporation, and as the automaker explains, the three letters stand for ‘boxer engine, ‘rear-wheel-drive’ and ‘Zenith’.
Even though the automaker calls it a technology concept, the BRZ will will go into production in spring 2012. We’ll be back with more details regarding the Subaru BRZ once the 64th edition Frankfurt Motor Show kicks off.
